Perfectly Wrapped Ministry was founded by Wilma K. Shaw-Halbert, MA, CTP, QMHP,whose personal journey inspired the organization's mission. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, multiple sexual assaults, rape, domesticviolence, and other traumatic experiences, Wilma understands firsthand the pain, isolation, fear, and long road to healing that many survivors face. Rather than allowingthose experiences to define her life, she chose to transform her pain into purpose. Her professional background includes more than 25 years of serving vulnerable populations through case management, trauma-informed care, housing services, crisis intervention, and community advocacy. Combined with her lived experience, education,and professional training, she has dedicated her life to ensuring that survivors know theyare not alone.Perfectly Wrapped Ministry was created because every survivor deserves someone whobelieves in them, walks alongside them, and reminds them that healing is possible. Our work is more than a program—it is a calling.
